IF you are in Australia in 2013 or can GET TO Australia 2013 There is an amazing opportunity and COMPETITION for create people like you!
Mad Dame is running a competition for established and upcoming creative people.
Finalists will win a road trip to the Australian Desert and be published in the first 2 issues of a new upcoming magazine publication.
We are looking for upcoming and established artists over a range of talents, with individuality and the ability to conceptualise beyond the norm.
It is an exceptional opportunity to become exposed and published, as well as a real life experience of seeing hidden parts of Australia and collaborating with Mad Dame's team and meeting like minded artists.
We are calling for submission from;
Photographers
Make up artists
Hair stylists
Clothing designers
Models
We will be picking one finalist from each category.
Each submission must be original and individual and cannot be a collaboration with another submission from another category.
The Brief;
See 4 reference images in this [link]
using what you see, interpret, twist, use, create, conceptualise your own vision in the form of an image. You must incorporate inspiration from each of the images in your final art piece.
Submission requirements;
Jpeg 3800px on longest side @ 240 dpi

FINALISTS:
-Competition Submission published in Issue 01
-Editorial shoot feature in Issue 02
-Free trip to the Australian desert and Location editorial project with Mad Dame and team.
The 5 finalist's submissions will be featured and published in 2 issues of a new upcoming magazine which will be widely available across Australia, NZ, Denmark, USA & Canada.
The 5 finalists must be available to join the Mad Dame team on a travel expenses paid Australian outback location editorial project.
Dates: 18th – 22nd April 2013
Finalists will be expected to contribute to the Australian outback Editorial assuming the role from their winning categories, with the collaboration and art direction of Mad Dame & team. You will be given full credit and exposure for your contribution.
**A release contract will be given to finalists.
Finalists must be available for Editorial shoot dates. Dates are non-negotiable.
If finalists do not sign or agree to the release contract, they will not win.
Your submission is for the sole purpose of the upcoming Magazine publication, if your submission is already published in print or online, your submission will be void.
Your submission will incur a reply once they are received.
Finalists will be notified by 25th January 2013.
No images will be used or published without the finalist's written permission and signed release form.
